IMAGE ID: Image of single-page zine. Pages will be described in order.
Cover reads "Euphoria: A transgender, transpsecies zine by: The Dragonheart Collective" and has small drawings of the transpecies symbol, the otherkin star, the theta-delta, and some species-affirming body decoration gear- a collar, two different clip-on tails, and a dust mask with a cat face on it.
Page 1 reads: "We are transgender" with the 'we' having a note pointing to it that says "plural system - see morethanone.info". The next line says: "We do not allign to the gender assigned to us at birth - none of us do in full. We experience dysphoria and euphoria from things related to gender."
"We are nonhuman. We identify as various nonhuman entities. We do not feel human is accurate to our understanding of ourselves. We experience euphoria and dysphoria from things related to our species."
Page 2 reads: "There is resistance in the community about comparing the two, but for us they are quire similar; and sometimes, things that help one help the other such as:
- loose clothing (to hide gender features)
- mask (to hide face gender features)
- taking advantage of the 'animalized' part of degendering by evoking animal
See this graph:" underneath has a diagram of a U-shape with man at the top of one side, failed man in the middle of one side, animalized/degendered in the bottom of the U, failed woman in the middle of the other side, and woman at the top of that side. The man side is higher and has a large portion of that side labeled 'failed man' than the woman side. There are also doodles of a hoodie, clip in fangs, a cat face dust mask, and cat ears.
Page 3 reads: "We know why the comparison is considered taboo- years of transphobic arguments (A speech bubble interjects "Next, people are going to identify as dogs!") have left their mark."
"Denial is safest to many (A speech bubble interjects "That isn't a real thing") But laws effect us too, and we do exist. (A box interjects, "News: 'New "litterbox" law!'
Page 4 reads: "We are both, and it would be inauthentic to now acknowledge this." Then a page break with symbols in a math equation, the transgender symbol, then a plus, then theta-delta symbol, then an equal sign, then a symbol that combines the two. "Our genders are often even deliberately evoking something alien to humanity."
"Xenogender: outside traditional human understanding of gender" The xenogender flag is then displayed. "Some xenogenders some of us have:
- Catgender
- Dragoness + Tomcat
- Xenofemale
- Catboy"
Page 5 reads: "To feel comfortable in our skin, we cannot have one without the other. The animal and the genderqueerness are two parts of a whole experience of our identity." An image of a winged cat is shown in the trans flag colors. "We even plan to get permanant transition surgeries for both one day"
Page 6 reads: "It is in evoking both in our presentation that we can acheive the euphoria of being ourselves." Euphoria is in all caps and underlined. Underneath this is an drawing of the zine creator wearing various accessories shown previously in the the zine, a cat face dust mask, a collar, a hoodie, and a clip on tail. Some phantom limbs of cat ears, tail, and paws are depicted in red ink over the drawing.
The back cover reads: "About the author: The Dragonheart Collective is an adult nonhuman plural system. They use they/them pronouns collectively and have been in associated communities for over a decade. They have a website here: 'dragonsroost@neocities.org' on this sort of thing. If you liked this zine, check it out." An image of the author's system symbol, a series of crystal fragments arranged loosely in a way that looks like a flower, is below this as well as the year this zine was made, 2025. END IMAGE ID
